Link - Explaining time in a dimensional sense

Imagining the Tenth Dimension

When I read the Time Machine I was reminded of this flash presentation. I think it'll be really useful for anyone inclined towards the concept of time as another dimension. In any case, it's really fascinating and interesting to watch, so everyone can go ahead and check it out if they have time.

Thanks for posting this fascinating presentation, Nina! It seems like the quantum mechanics/string theory concept of multiple parallel dimensions that can "fold" into each other has a huge influence on the way time travel is imagined in La Jetee. In La Jetee, time travel is not about travelling forward and backward on a straight line, as in The Time Machine, but more about leaping instantaneously in and out of discontinuous, nonlinear moments in time.
